Soni Motors was established in 1911 as a local dealer which imported quality vehicles from UK, Germany and the US. Since we were British Asia's first dealership and there were no dealership to be found in South West Asia, South East Asia or Central Asia, we began attracting customers from all over these regions. The requests pored in at such pace that we were unable to supply these vehicles from our ready stock and had to import these vehicles in. In this case, the customer would send his deposit, he would wait imcustomerly until his vehicle arrived in our premises. Communication was difficult because phone was not ubiquitous and no one had dreamed a computer yet. As he himself was a car enthusiast, he knew how difficult wait was, therefore our Great Grandfather made it his mission to get a customer's vehicle to his door as soon as possible. That sense of urgency still permeates all aspects of our business even though we have grown into Asia's top auto exporter serving a growing roster of Blue Chip Companies, governments and top tier non-profit organizations.
